Where we come from. Our homebase is Lafayette, Louisiana. We are a medium sized city in Louisiana about 2 hours from New Orleans. Our area is famous for our Cajun cuisine, wonderful Cajun and Zydeco music as well as our French culture. We are well known in these parts for our joie de vivre which is French for enjoyment of life.

Our purpose. What started out as a small group chat between a few friends transformed into Facebook group formed to discuss local bourbon related activities, places to find great whiskey as well a haven for the development of camraderie. Our mission is to provide a place for our members to enjoy the company of others, share what they are enjoying and develop a sense of community that was lacking in our local area.

What's next. Our goals are to have quarterly in person meetups to foster that sense of community and allow for swapping samples, sharing bottles and just generally enjoying each other's company. We also have plans in the work for philanthropic endeavors with local nonprofits, group barrel picks and so much more. If you are local to our area, we would love to have you join us. It doesn't matter if you have one bottle of Evan Williams or 200 bottles of the "good stuff", we welcome all. You may even learn a few things and enjoy some laughs along the way.
